Old, Traditionally Built Houses
In the area that we cover there are many houses of considerable age, including limestone cottages and houses in the Cotswolds, some with stone slate roofs others tiled or covered with natural slates. In the north west of our area there are sandstone houses in the Severn Valley.
Scattered throughout most of the rural parts of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire are many timber-framed houses (post and truss, box framed and even some cruck-frame) many with thatched roofs. Both in the towns and the larger villages there are Georgian and Regency brick houses with some larger examples dotted about the countryside.
