Dilapidation Reports/Claims
These reports are carried out on behalf of landlords upon their tenanted premises and are totally related to the repairing covenants in the lease. They point up any areas of disrepair or lack of decoration by the tenant. A schedule of these items with instructions on what to do to correct them is prepared for service by the landlord upon the tenant. The purpose of these reports is to keep the building in a good state of repair and decoration in order to aid reletting and keep rentals and thus investment value high.
